Term 3, has been an amazing start. Year 7s are learning to refer to their family members in French, and have succeeded to impress them. The Year 8s on the other hand have been keeping their minds active by learning about sports and leisure activities. The Year 9s have been expanding their sentence structure skills by learning different tenses, creating vocabulary banks and speaking French in full sentences.

We have been using Language Perfect on a daily basis to perfect each year level’s skills. The Year 9 are highly anticipating their first ever French excursion to the Alliance Française of Melbourne. Stay tuned! Au revoir!

Dear Parents,

We see that students have learnt more during this time even though it has been only half of the term. The reality that kids learn through games is really effective. Every single student has different ways of learning such as some are interested in reading and learn a lot in this way, others learn by writing, some others learn by visual means.

The students have been getting better, as much as we observe, during the activities in the class. Language is an endless process that takes a long time to learn and every day it teaches something else.

Finally, we want to say, “Have a Wonderful Eid Al Adha” to whomever celebrate.
